Super Bowl Lineup Changes: Robin Roberts and Michael Strahan Missing from GMA

Missing Co-Anchors

On Friday’s episode of Good Morning America (GMA), viewers noticed the absence of Robin Roberts and Michael Strahan. While George Stephanopoulos was present at the desk, Rebecca Jarvis filled in for Roberts, and Gio Benitez replaced Strahan. This is not the first time Roberts has missed a Friday episode, and Strahan was away from GMA all week due to family events.

Strahan’s Family Matters

Strahan spent the week with his family in North Carolina. He attended a college basketball game with his daughter Sophia and girlfriend Kayla Quick. He also supported his daughter Isabella, Sophia’s twin sister, as she began chemotherapy treatments at Duke University Hospital Cancer Center. Isabella is recovering from brain cancer surgery and has been documenting her journey on YouTube.

Roberts’ Message of Gratitude

Before her absence on Friday, Roberts shared a video message with fans. She emphasized the importance of appreciating loved ones and recognizing the good things in life. Roberts also mentioned her marriage to Amber Laign and their recent trip to Park City, Utah, for the Sundance International Film Festival.

Upcoming Projects

Roberts recently unveiled her documentary, The Harlem Hellfighters, which premiered on the History Channel. She missed a GMA episode last week after attending a screening event for the project in New York.

Return to GMA

It is unclear when Roberts and Strahan will return to GMA. Viewers can expect updates on their return in the coming days.
