Donna’s Absence in Chicago Fire

Fans of Chicago Fire were left wondering about Donna’s whereabouts after a recent episode. Chief Boden’s stepson, Jimmy, arrived at the firehouse seeking help for his mother, Shonda, who had been arrested. This brought up questions about Donna, Boden’s current wife.

Donna’s History on Chicago Fire

Donna (Melissa Ponzio) first appeared in Season 2 of Chicago Fire. She and Boden dated for a while, got engaged that season, and married in the Season 2 finale. Donna is also the mother of Boden’s other son, Terrance. She has appeared in numerous episodes since then, but her last appearance was in Season 9.

Donna’s Current Status

In Season 9, Donna stopped by Firehouse 51 to use the Wi-Fi and received assistance from Darren Ritter (Daniel Kyri) and Blake Gallo (Alberto Rosende). While Donna is still alive and well within the One Chicago universe, the actress who plays her, Melissa Ponzio, has been working on other projects. There is a possibility of her reappearing in future episodes, as there have been hints of her presence.
