Blue Bloods: Jamie in Danger, Emotional Tribute, and Familiar Faces Return in Final Season

Jamie’s Undercover Mission

The final season of Blue Bloods kicks off in two weeks, and fans are preparing to bid farewell to the Reagan family. Season 14 will be divided into two parts, ensuring a grand send-off for the hit CBS show. Showrunner Kevin Wade has teased the final season, promising a thrilling conclusion.

One major storyline involves Jamie (Will Estes) going undercover to infiltrate a human trafficking ring. This dangerous assignment will reveal a new side of Jamie. Frank (Tom Selleck) disapproves of Jamie’s new role, leading to interference that strains their relationship. Jamie also clashes with his nephew, Joe Hill (Will Hochman), during his undercover mission.

Frank’s Conflict with Mayor Chase

In addition to his concerns about Jamie, Frank continues to clash with Mayor Chase (Dylan Walsh). Their biggest conflict this season will be the sheltering of migrants in New York City. A teaser from CBS shows another epic disagreement between Frank and the mayor.

Fan Favorite Returns and Emotional Tribute

The final season of Blue Bloods will feature exciting returns, including Nicky (Sami Gayle) spending time with her mother, Erin (Bridget Moynahan). Two of Danny’s (Donnie Wahlberg) old partners, Darryl Reid (Malik Yoba) and Jackie (Jennifer Esposito), also make comebacks.

The season will pay tribute to the late Treat Williams, who played Frank’s close friend and former partner, Lenny Ross. Frank will mourn the loss of Lenny as the cast honors their colleague, who passed away last summer.

Two-Part Season

The first half of Blue Bloods Season 14 is packed with drama and surprises, and the second half will air in the fall. The season premiere is on Friday, February 16, at 10/9c on CBS.
